Nicholas "Nick" Joseph Chastain, born , is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of the psychotic Alex on the highest rated soap opera The Young and the Restless in 2004 and 2006. He was in the 2007 film ''Fast Girl''. Chastain grew up in Millington, Tennessee. He started acting in commercials, then at age 16, he moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career.
